PERSOM and these terms
PERSOM and persom.wine are operated by PERSOM LIMITED, incorporated in Hong Kong on 11 September 2026, Business Registration Number 81215010. These terms describe the permitted use of the website and the PERSOM services to which they are presented as applying. The app is in development. Descriptions of intended features do not promise a release date or make a subscription available through this website.
App licence and Apple purchases
The licence governing an App Store download is the agreement supplied with that app. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement applies when no custom licence is supplied through the App Store. These website terms do not, by themselves, install a custom app licence or replace the licence supplied with your download.
App Store purchases are also subject to Apple’s applicable purchase terms. Any service terms presented for acceptance in the app supplement the applicable licence only to the extent they are consistent with it and mandatory law. Nothing here reduces consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Wine and gastronomy guidance
PERSOM is intended to help you explore wines, wine pairings and your own preferences. Recommendations and image recognition can be inaccurate or incomplete. A processed Wine Card image is an illustration derived for the service, not a certificate of authenticity, provenance, condition or ownership of a bottle.
Check the bottle, vintage, restaurant list, price and availability with the relevant producer, retailer or venue before relying on them. Wine and meal information is not medical advice or a guarantee of allergen safety. Ask the venue or producer about ingredients and allergens. Use your own judgement, observe local alcohol laws and consume responsibly.
PERSOM is intended for adults who may lawfully consume alcohol in their location. These terms do not establish a single worldwide drinking age.
Your use and responsibilities
Use the website and app lawfully and for their intended purposes. Do not interfere with security or availability, attempt unauthorised access, impersonate someone else or submit material you have no right to use. Restrictions on copying or reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law and the applicable licence.
Where an account is provided, keep access credentials secure and the information needed to operate that account accurate. Tell support@persom.wine if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not send passwords in a support message.
Your photographs and other content
You retain any rights you hold in your submitted material. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit it for the requested use, including where it contains another person’s information or third-party material.
By submitting content for a PERSOM function, you permit PERSOM and the service providers involved in that function to process, reproduce, transform, store and display it only as reasonably needed to deliver that function and maintain the records you choose to keep. For a bottle photograph, this includes recognising the wine, isolating the bottle, rendering a processed portrait and displaying the resulting Wine Card.
This permission is limited to providing the agreed service. It is not an assignment of your ownership or a perpetual, unrestricted licence for advertising, general-purpose AI training or publication. Uploads remain private unless a separate permission allows wider use. Background removal or other processing does not itself authorise shared-catalogue use.
The permission lasts only as needed for the permitted processing and any retention required by law. Removal and deletion are subject to the applicable data-handling arrangements explained for the service; they are not a promise that every cache or backup disappears immediately. PERSOM and third-party material
Rights in PERSOM-owned material and material licensed to PERSOM remain with their respective owners. Bottle labels, producer names, trademarks and third-party images remain subject to their owners’ rights. A reference to a wine, venue or third-party service does not imply a partnership or endorsement.

Subscriptions and trials
PERSOM’s intended subscription channel is Apple’s App Store. There is no direct website subscription checkout. Before purchasing, review the offer displayed by Apple and the app, including price, currency, billing interval, any trial, eligibility and what happens when a trial ends.
If an offer includes a free trial, the trial itself is free. Unless cancelled in accordance with the offer, it converts to the paid subscription described on the purchase screen. Auto-renewable subscriptions continue until cancelled. Apple advises cancelling a free or discounted trial at least 24 hours before it ends if you do not want it to renew; follow any applicable local rules and the terms shown for your purchase.
You manage an Apple-billed subscription through your Apple Account. Removing the app or deleting a PERSOM account does not itself cancel that subscription. Cancelling a subscription does not itself request deletion of PERSOM data.
Use Apple’s refund process for an Apple-billed purchase. Eligibility depends on the circumstances, applicable Apple terms and mandatory consumer law. These terms neither guarantee every refund nor impose a blanket no-refund rule. See Support for cancellation, restoration and refund assistance.
Availability, suspension and ending use
Features may be interrupted for maintenance, faults or circumstances outside reasonable control. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, a material breach of applicable terms or a security risk. Any restriction should be proportionate, with an explanation and an opportunity to resolve the issue where appropriate and lawful.
You can stop using the website or app and request account or data assistance. Subscription cancellation must be handled separately as described above. Ending access does not remove rights or duties that must continue under law, the applicable licence or an existing purchase.
Changes, responsibility and disputes
Relevant changes to these terms will be identified with the date they take effect. Where a change affects an existing paid service, required notice and consumer remedies remain applicable; a website update does not silently remove rights attached to an earlier purchase.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Applicable law, the app licence and mandatory consumer protections govern your rights and the resolution of a dispute.
